  • The purple circle symbolizes the sacred space where transformation occurs.

  • It represents the union of the body, mind and spirit, fusing all elements in balance.

  • Purple evokes a place of spiritual protection and wisdom, where inner peace and comprehensive well-being are cultivated.

  • It is not just a geometric shape, but the sacred container that envelops everything that is necessary for enlightenment and inner peace.

  • It is the field of possibilities, the space without borders where all elements merge and harmonize, like a microcosm that reflects universal balance.

The Blue Lotus: Wisdom, Spiritual Victory and the Implicit Presence of Tara

  • The blue lotus, which blooms pure in the middle of the mud, symbolizes the overcoming of material difficulties and the ability to achieve transcendental knowledge.

  • It is a symbol of deep wisdom, spiritual victory and inner enlightenment and invites deep contemplation and self-knowledge.

  • Tara, the compassionate deity, holds a blue lotus in each hand, and her presence is implied in this symbol.

  • The lotus acts as a subtle reminder of her protection and loving guidance, bringing hope and healing to those seeking balance in their lives.

The Cyan Green Butterfly: The Principle of Life and Transformation

  • The cyan green butterfly, suspended above the lotus, symbolizes the first signs of life in the water, connecting us with the origin and the vital impulse that begins all creation.

  • It represents transformation and constant renewal, just like the butterfly that is reborn after its metamorphosis.

  • Cyan green, as a color, evokes renewal, freshness and hope, inviting us to flow with the processes of change and to be reborn to a new version of ourselves.

The Meaning of "TanaDuG"

The name Tanadug, inspired by Tibetan Buddhist iconography, means "something wonderful to be seen, indescribable."

  • Tanadug refers to the essential garden described in Tibetan Buddhist texts as the great Palace of the Medicine Buddha, Sangye Menla, or Pure Land of the Medicine Buddha.

  • This garden, symbolized in mandalas and physically recreated as sacred spaces, represents a place where natural elements are perfectly balanced to promote the healing of inner peace of human beings.

  • Among these essential elements that are included in this sacred space of the Medicine Buddha we highlight the four directions, which encompass the entire space and universal harmony; the plants with their flowers, fruits, roots and stems necessary for the preparation of medicines; pure waters that also represent purity, flow and vitality; stones and rocks, minerals and crystals that have healing properties; mountains and valleys that make possible the existence of the elements necessary for inner peace and reconnection with the pure essence.

  • The concept of Tanadug not only encompasses natural beauty and abundance, but is also a symbolic space to connect with the purpose of the Medicine Buddha: to alleviate the physical and mental suffering of sentient beings.

  • Tanadug is represented as a mandala full of spiritual and therapeutic meaning. This garden or mandala also symbolizes the interconnection of the five elements—earth, water, fire, air, and space—which are considered essential to life and health in Tibetan philosophy.

  • The capital letters in the design symbolize elements associated with Yang: the active, the luminous, the dynamic. On the other hand, the lower case letters reflect the Yin: the receptive, the dark, the passive. When integrated into the same word, these letters transcend their individuality and represent the unity of opposites, a principle that resonates both in Taoism and in other traditions of healing and spirituality.

The Beauty of the Logo: A Spiritual Garden of Transformation

Each component of the logo is articulated as a reflection of this indescribable beauty that Tanadug offers us, inviting deep contemplation and inner transformation.

  • The purple circle, like a vibrant field of energy, surrounds the blue lotus, which embodies profound wisdom, while the cyan green butterfly celebrates continuous rebirth.

  • This butterfly, with its flight, carries with it vitality and renewal, as it gently lands on the blue lotus. The act of landing your flight on the lotus symbolizes the perfect harmony between spiritual wisdom and transformation. The butterfly, in its serenity, does not interrupt the blooming of the lotus, but accompanies it, celebrating the balance between constant renewal and transcendental knowledge.

  • All this is contained in the essence of the name Tanadug, where the soul can find what it needs to live in harmony, move towards inner peace and recognize its divine essence.

The Connection of Tanadug with the Spiritual Path

The logo is not only a representation of visual elements, but an invitation to internal deepening. Each symbol reflects a part of the path to enlightenment, in which all the elements of nature intertwine to nourish and sustain balance between body, mind and spirit.

A Profound Message of Healing and Transformation

The Tara Tanadug Foundation logo invites:

  • Re-connect with the principle of life and our essential nature (cyan green butterfly).

  • Cultivate spiritual wisdom and inner peace (blue lotus and Tara presence).

  • Find a space of balance, protection and transformation (purple circle).

  • It is a visual representation of the Foundation's purpose: To accompany people in their process of healing and spiritual rebirth, guided by compassion, wisdom and connection with the nature of their being.
